Heyerdahl

Hans Olaf Heyerdahl Swedish Painter (Dalarna, Sweden, 1857 - Oslo 1913). He studied at home and Monaco; traveled extensively, lived in Paris (1878-82) and Florence (1882-84). In his production influences are noticed Munich's academic and research the effectsof natural open air (significant navies, from 1880 onwards), humanitarian issues realistic accent (The death of a worker, 1888, Trondheim, Trondelag Kunstgaleri), scenes from classical mythology and Nordic, etc.. Giorgio de Chirico

Giorgio de Chirico (July 10, 1888 -- November 20, 1978) was a Greek-born Italian artist. In the years before World War I, he founded the scuola metafisica art movement, which profoundly influenced the surrealists. After 1919, he became interested in traditional painting techniques, and worked in a neoclassical or neo-Baroque style, while frequently revisiting the metaphysical themes of his earlier work. 'That de Chirico was a poet, and a great one, is not in dispute. He could condense voluminous feeling through metaphor and association. One can try to dissect these magical nodes of experience, yet not find what makes them cohere...
